These terms apply to your use of the Rockafairy website, member accounts, and text messaging programs. Rockafairy is an Oregon 501(c)(3) nonprofit at 1600 N. Riverside Ave., Medford, Oregon 97501. By using our site or signing up for our services, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Rockafairy Text Messaging Program
Program: Rockafairy Text Alerts (including events by The Rogue Room, operated by our subsidiary RF Productions LLC).
Message types:
- Account & event messages: one-time verification codes, password resets, booking confirmations and reminders, membership and points notices, instrument-lending reminders, and event updates.
- Promotional messages (optional): announcements about upcoming shows and events, sent only if you separately agree to them.
Message frequency: Account & event messages vary based on your activity. Promotional messages: up to 4 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will get one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe.
For help: reply HELP or email contactus@rockafairy.org.
- How you opt in: by entering your mobile number in your Rockafairy account or staff profile and checking the box that agrees to receive text messages. Account/event messages and promotional messages have separate checkboxes. Neither is checked by default.
- Consent is not a condition of membership, purchase, or use of our services. You may decline promotional messages and still use every Rockafairy program. Verification codes are needed only if you choose text-based sign-in or account recovery.
- STOP is global: replying STOP ends all text messages from this program, including account messages. You can still use email-based options for account access.
- Carriers: available on supported U.S. carriers only. Carriers and Rockafairy are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Accuracy: you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number you provide, and you agree to tell us if you change or lose that number.
Using our website and services
Our site and programs are provided for lawful, community-oriented use. You agree not to misuse them, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with their operation, or use them to harass others. Accounts are personal. Keep your credentials secure and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
Memberships, borrowed equipment, and bookings
Specific rules for instrument lending, points, room reservations, and event bookings are provided when you sign up or book, and may be updated. You are responsible for borrowed instruments and equipment as described in those rules. We may suspend access for misuse or non-compliance.
Donations and ticket purchases
Donations and ticket purchases are handled by third-party services and subject to their terms. Rockafairy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.
Intellectual property
The Rockafairy name, logo, and site content belong to Rockafairy or its contributors and may not be used without permission, except for sharing our events and mission.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rockafairy and its directors, staff, and volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes, governing law
We may update these terms and will post the new effective date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, and disputes will be heard in the courts of Jackson County, Oregon.
